O Final...The End

  

Com o inicio do novo ano e com a finalizacao da moradia, irei agora dar por encerrada esta epopeia que foi contruir uma casa. O meu muito obrigado a todos aqueles que me ajudaram neste processo e uma palavra muito especial ao Eng. Mario Neto  que realizou o projecto e acompanhou toda a construcao de uma forma exemplar e ao Sr. Joao Marques - empreiteiro - que com os seus homens fez um trabalho notavel de elevadissima qualidade. Tenho recebido muitos elogios tanto da arquitectura da casa e acabamentos, mas tambem relativamente a qualidade de construcao o que e excelente e so confirma o meu agradecimento anterior.O blog continuara activo e visivel, mas a obra acabou. Faltam meia duzia de pequenos pormenores que ficarao concluidos nas proximas semanas.

With the beginning of the new year I will now conclude this long journey that was to build a new house.   A big thank you to all those that participated and helped me and a very special thank you to Eng. Mario Neto that developed all the projet and followed all the construction and to Mr. Joao Marques - the builder -  that with his team did a high quality job. I've received a lot of compliments from the architeture of the house to the quality of the finishings and that confirms what I just mention before. The blog will remain active and visible, but the construction is now over.There are some small details still mising that will be finished in the next weeks. Os estores ja estao montados quase em todas as janelas  da casa.The blinds are almost finished in all the windows of the house.

Domotica....Applications for home control

Os trabalhos da instalacao electrica e domotica com o sistema KNX continuam e deverao estar concluidos na proxima semana. Em baixo algumas imagens dos materias que estao a ser usados e da instalacao. The work to install the electricity and the applications for home control with the KNX system continue and should be finished next week. Deck

Continua a montagem do deck em ipe agora na zona do r/c da moradia. Abaixo uma sequencia de fotos onde se pode ver todo o trabalho a impermeabilizacao de toda a superficie por baixo do deck. The assembly of the ipe deck continues in the ground floor area. Below a sequence of photos where we can see all the different elements and the water proof work that was done under the deck.

Ponte...Bridge

Fizemos uma pequena ponte de madeira que nos vai permitir passar o terreno de um lado para o outro. Ainda falta o acabamento final para entrar e sair, mas ja da para ficar com uma ideia como ira ficar.We have made a little bridge in wood that will allow us to cross the water line easily. The final finishing to get in and out is still missing, but it already give us a good idea how it's going to look like.
