Dreno...Drain

A moradia fica num declive e tem um terreno muito argiloso, pelo que com a chuva a agua tende a infiltrar-se no terreno e com muita chuva tende a escorrer a superficie pelo terreno abaixo. A moradia  ja tem um dreno toda a volta e tem tambem uma caleira toda a volta do terreno para evitar a agua, mas tendo em consideracao o que aconteceu no ultimo inverno com muita agua continuamente a escorrer pelo terreno, decidimos fazer mais um dreno que vai evitar que a agua chegue proxima da casa. Tem 3 metros de fundo de modo a ficar abaixo do nivel da cave. Algumas fotos dos trabalhos realizados hoje. The house is in a slope and the land is in clay. When it rains it absorbs a lot of water staying wet for a long period of time. The water also tends to go down hill in the direction of the house. The house already has a drain around it, and also a little vale all around the land to divert the water. Taking in consideration what happened in the last winter, with the land extremely wet all the time, we have decided to do another drain that will help to avoid that the water gets closer to the house. It has a height of 3 mts, staying under the basement level of the house. Below some pictures of the work done today.
